Labrador has one of the older populations on this stretch of the coast, and a lot of it lives in units and low-rise blocks built long before anyone thought much about step-free access. Steep driveways, external stairs and narrow bathrooms all make a difference once balance starts to change, and they are exactly the things we assess when we visit.
We see clients throughout Labrador: the units near Marine Parade and the Broadwater, the older homes around Harley Park, and the retirement and over-50s living dotted through the suburb. Plenty of people here tell us they used to walk the Broadwater every morning and quietly stopped. Getting that walk back is a very common goal, and a realistic one.

Labrador clients use the full range of funding options: Support at Home, DVA (no out-of-pocket cost for eligible veterans), Medicare care plans via GP referral, WorkCover QLD, private health extras, private payment, and NDIS for self-managed and plan-managed participants.
